Ethanol
« on: December 08, 2011, 09:51:16 AM »
Hello all

I am not sure why but after diluting absolute ethanol with RO water to 70% it became cloudy. It never happened to me in the past. Does anyone know what might have caused it?

Thank you

ali

Hi Nobby

It looks like this might be the problem. Thanks for ideas.

When we were working with a new cleaning product, we were mixings distilled water, pure ethanol, and some other natural liquids and were experiencing this.  If we mixed just the ethanol and water it remained clear; same with the other chemicals and ethanol.  But as soon as we mixed all three, cloudy.

The amount of ethanol is to less.

What is the result to mix the cleaning product only with water?
