Design for a practical/experiment on homologous series question
« on: February 28, 2012, 06:45:58 AM »
I have to create a design for an experiment with a homologous series, and have decided to test the effect that the classification (primary, secondary, tertiary) has on the volatility on an aliphatic alcohol (same number of carbons)? I'm super confused with how I might go about designing this experiment? Any suggestions? Thank you!

First I think you should look up the definition of "homologous series" and once you've done that pick a different experiment that actually relates to a homologous series.
