Biochemical processes (Technology chemistry).
« on: March 01, 2012, 01:09:18 PM »
Hi,
I can't find out the answers on these questions (name of the subject is technology chemistry) and  I need your help:
1)What would have been the consequence of much lower and of much higher reactivity of petrolum geochemistry for humanity?
2)Which factors determine the lower and upper limit of the window for biochemical processes?
3)Given a production rate of between 10^4 and 10^6 t/a of large volume chemicals (bulk chemicals), estimate required reactors volumes.
4)Do the same for the production of petroleum products (10^6 to 10^8 t/a)
5)A--->B--->C kinetics in which B is the desired product is often encountered. Explain why the particle size of the catalyst influences the observed selectivity to B.

Thanks in advance
(Sorry, If i wrote in wrong section).
