Imidazole, Pyrazole, Thiazole
« on: March 03, 2012, 05:51:46 AM »
Hi, sorry this may seem a little dumb, however I cannot sus out the mechanism of formation for any of these..

I am looking for benzimidazole (through o-phenylenediamene), 3, 5-dimethylpyrazole, and 4-methyl-2-phenylthiazole-5-carboxylic acid ethyl ester.

But just a basic HELP will help please! Thanks

Search Google or wikipedia for the begining.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benzimidazole

These compounds are obtained mostly through simple condensations
