What is the difference between thermal dissociation and thermal decomposition?

And also is it possible for a reaction to take place between two compunds with same radicals or any negatively charged anion like between HNO3 and AgNO3??

It seems unlikely but I am no expert.

Although, you can make a nice buffer solution with the correct negatively charged anions/radicals :P
