Hy Everyone,
I dont know if this is the right board for my question but since i'm undergraduate i think this is right board
To make Epsom salt i add Sulfuric Acid to Magnesite but the magnesite contains some traces of Iron so along with Epsom salt (MgSo4) Ferrous Sulfate also forms (FeSo4)
how can i remove Ferrous Sulfate from Epsom Salt
Can anyone help me?
Take care

You might try fractional crystallization. You could also try recrystallization from water/ethanol, because magnesium sulfate is more soluble in ethanol than ferrous sulfate. Or, you know, just buy some epsom salts.
