Need help with reaction

Hi, I just needed some help with this reaction Fe(2+)(OH) = Fe(3+)(OH)3  I am having trouble balancing and understanding how this works.  Any help would be thankful.

You need to define more precisely what is the reaction you are investigating. The way you wrote it now it is neither a complete reaction nor a complete reaction equation.

Sorry, I was trying to figure out how to add the H2O, H+ and O2 to the reaction and then balancing it, is what I was having trouble with.

This is better, but we are still not there. What is the starting compound, what is the product?There is no such thing as Fe(2+)OH, I suppose you mean Fe(OH)2 - but I am just guessing.

Try something and post what you did, we will try to start from there.
