The solubility of calcium fluoride (CaF2) was been studied in the following
aqueous solutions containing 1.2 x10-3 mol kg-1 of
(i) sucrose
(ii) potassium nitrate (KNO3),
(iii) calcium chloride (CaCl2)
Given the Ksp of calcium fluoride is 4.0 x10-11, calculate the concentration of fluoride ions in all three solutions.
(Hint: sucrose is not an electrolyte)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
