Molar Conductivities! Really need help please!
« on: April 23, 2012, 10:41:45 AM »
a) Calculate the conductivity and molar conductivity of acetic acid at concentration 0.0114M that gives a resistance of 692ohms. The cell constant is 10m-1
b) Given the limiting molar conductivities of NaCl, HCl and CH3COONa are 12.65^-3, 42.62^3 and 9.10^-3 Sm2mol-1 respectively, calculate the limiting molar conductivity of acetic acid.
c) Determine the degree of dissociation and Ka of acetic acid.

for part a i got conductivity = 1.45^-2 Sm-1 and molar conductivity = 1.27 Sm2mol-1 and for part b i got 39.07^'3 Sm2mol-1 (ARE THESE CORRECT?)

stuck on the last part.. please help  :-[
