Hi I was sick the past 3 days and missed alot of notes and now have to do an assignement. Any help would be appreciated on any of these questions.
Write the predominant Bronsted-Lowry reaction occurring in solution for each of the following aqueos salts (their solubility does not matter)
NH4NO3
LiCN
K2HPO4
Im confused for how to find the predominant one.
If you were to bubble large qauntities of carbon dioxide through a solution of NaCl, would you expect the resulting solution to be acidic, basic, or neutral? Explain.
Explain why ferrous nitrate has a neutral pH while that of ferric nitrate does not.
I understand the difference between them but not how to find how it affects pH.
Thank you.
