Heres 2 questions that are confusing me:

For the 1st one, I've never seen a d bonding orbital. Is a πd bonding orbital, just like a πp bonding orbital but with 4 lobes, instead of 2. Kinda like this:

For the first question, yes, that is a good representation of a πd binding orbital.

For question d, try drawing your two orbitals with a line representing the x axis connecting them. For one of the two orbitals, draw both possibilities for the sign of the wavefunction. Can you overlap your two orbitals such that one combination with one set of signs would be stabilized and the other would be destabilized?
