Chemdraw - creating SDF file
« on: July 03, 2012, 12:44:42 PM »
I have a list of closely related structures that I would like to put into a structure data file. I have a chemdraw file containing these structures, but I'd like to label each structure with a shorthand name (such as LL1, LL2, etc.). Is there a way to do this?

I'm not sure you can do this from ChemDraw. I think you need ChemBioFinder, the chemical database.
There you can export the database as an sdf file or put it into Excel (the ChemDraw addon for Excel).
Development Chemists do it on Scale, Research Chemists just do it!
