Pump Discharge
« on: September 23, 2012, 09:41:30 AM »
Hello,

Trying to determine pumps discharge. Someone suggested the formula:
Q(GMP)=Hp*1714*1/deltaP(PSI on the pump)

Is this the right way to calculate the discharge?

Thanks.
Best Regards,

Centainly the equation exist, consult Perry 8 edition page 27 section 10 (transport and storage of fluids), and being the capacity the volumetric flow you will be able to calculate the value having information about the power imparted two liquid and pressure diference.
