Dilution molarity problem
« on: November 03, 2012, 05:36:01 PM »
If 25.0 mL of 7.50 M H2SO4 are diluted to exactly 500.0 mL, what is the mass of H2SO4 per mL?

According to my book, it is 0.00368 g/mL, but should it not be 0.0736 g/mL?  Please explain.

Check the volume you dilute to.

Then you will find your error.
