If 25.0 mL of 7.50 M H
2
SO
4
are diluted to exactly 500.0 mL, what is the mass of H
2
SO
4
per mL?
According to my book, it is 0.00368 g/mL, but should it not be 0.0736 g/mL? Please explain.

Check the volume you dilute to.
Then you will find your error.
