How does vinegar affect the calcium in bones?  If I soak a beef bone in vinegar to soften, will the calcium still be bioavailable if fed to dogs/cats?  If anyone knows the equation for vinegar and calcium carbonate that would be great too.

Can you try to look up some of those constants yourself, and make an attempt to determine what's happening?  We like to help people learn for themselves, on this forum.  We don't like just dumping a complete answer for anyone, even if the question isn't obviously homework, its more fun for us, if you try to learn something.
