doubt in haloform rxn.

 find the attached question .

ans-c

why all the compound are not showing the haloform  rxn. as all
contains methylated ketone ?

What happens to compounds A-D when you add base?

Do you know the mechanism for the haloform reaction? It involves substitution of acidic hydrogens with the halogen.
