Gallium actually needs to be a good deal above room temp in order to liquify.  On a typical day in the summer, my cesium is fully liquid but my gallium is still solid.  Only if it gets really hot does the gallium melt.  Just holding the vial of cesium will liquify it, but you need to hold onto the gallium vial for a good long while before it melts.
