Hi,
I sincerely hope that I am posting in the proper forum. I have read the rules and sub-section descriptions, but I am still unsure about which sub-section to post this in.
I am currently working on a process in which an employee wipes down a piece of metal with acetone. For various reasons relating to welding, acetone is one of the safer chemicals of choice for this process.
Safety of my employees is my top priority, so I will be likely installing a fume hood for this process, as well as an emergency fire shower nearby. However, I want to monitor the PPM of the acetone in the air at a location near the hood. My questions is as follows:
How do I do this? I don't even know of the name of a device that might do this, so I can't even google this problem. Can someone head me in the right direction?
Thank-you,
