Please can someone help me out here, I work in a gold mining village somewhere in Africa, we brake stones then take it to machine to ground after which we use mercury chemical for extracting gold from sand/dust to extract a little quantity of gold if we are lucky.
But in most times this mercury don’t extract much believing that gold still remain in the sand, my question is, is there any other means/chemical that I can use to get more gold from this sand/dust or any other technical way to achieve this.

Have you heard about the borax method?

Not that I know more than the video shows, but it could be some starting point.
