Question about user custom pictures
« on: January 31, 2006, 01:49:06 PM »
I have a question about the custom pictures that we can set up for ourselves.
(E.g., Mine is set to a Texas flag.)

When I specified it, I gave a url to my own website where the image is stored.
My question:  Does this forum copy the image, and then use the copy when decorating my posts?
Or does it link to the one on my own site.

In other words, am I using my own network bandwidth for the images, or just yours?

It uses your bandwidth mainly.
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex
