Ftaxilide?

Hey guys, I have been using this forum for a while but just decided to join because I am totally stuck this time and can't find any information anywhere.
So for my organic chemistry class, I have been asked to write a report on the past use of a drug, and the drug that was given to me was Ftaxilide. I have searched online, in the merk index, and in other chemistry texts but I cannot find any information on what this drug is or what it was used for. Does anyone on here know anything about this compound or its synthesis? any information is appreciated

I know what the molecule is and what it looks like, I am looking for background information on its history and uses in/outside of medicine
