aluminum sulfate

Currently I am produce aluminum sulfate with basis from aluminum hydroxide + sulfuric acid + water.
I need to reduce the content of aluminum sulfate from 20% to 12%.
Basis the aluminum hydroxide: 2 tonnes. the other measurement is flexible. the reaction is exothermic.

Just add something inert? What's the application?
