Graduate School Inquiry
« on: April 23, 2013, 12:05:47 AM »
I want to know how competitive graduate schools are. I want to get a Phd in physical chemistry. I currently have a 3.4 GPA (overall, my chemistry GPA is lower) and I am also double majoring in math. By the time that I graduate I will have had 2 years of research experience. Any insight into the graduate school process will be much appreciated.

Depends on where you're applying, but most of the programs aren't too ultracompetitive.  With your GPA you can get in somewhere, provided your test scores are decent.
