I would really like to help you solve these, what do you think the answers are?
write the expression to the acid base dissociation, now you are told the pH, and pH is simply the inverse logarithm of the concentration of hydronium atoms (H+).(p stands for -log)

does this help?

I cant find questions 4 and 5.

Also, you should probably post this in the general chemistry forum, as these are really more general chemistry questions

so if I do -log(2.63) = -0.41999

what can I do with this value or have I done something wrong?

hey, 2.63 is the pH, which is inverse logarithm of the hydronium concentration. what you have done is taken the inverse logarithm again...not what you want to do.

maybe this will help

-log(100)= -2
-log(1000)= -3

-log(.002344)= 2.633

so to cancel out your inverse log simply take 10^-(pH value)

so in this case you can do 10^(-2.63) and you will have your H value: .002344

I think you should take some time to review logarithms and exponents, I do not mean to offend you, everyone needs a little math brush up now and then.

Also, you should post this in the "Highschool" section. again, I do not mean to say what you are learning is for high school students, I know many college students who struggle with this, but I am sure people are looking at this and saying " this is not organic chemisty" and simply moving on to another thread.
