Average rate of disappearance

I have been working on this problem over the weekend and I still cannot figure it out.  I have looked through my text book and nowhere does it say anything about the rate of disappearance.  How would you go by figuring this out?  What equation would you use to solve this problem?:
           The average rate of disappearance of ozone in the reaction   2O[3](g) ----> 3O[2](g) is found to be 9.0x10[-3] atm over a certain interval of time.  What is the rate of appearance of O[2] during this interval?

For every 2 moles of ozone that "disappear", 3 moles of molecular oxygen "appear".  Their rates of disappearance and appearance must be likewise proportional
