hello,

I am confused. Can we say that SH2 is a good nuclephil and a good base? or it is just a good nucleophil?
and the same about CN-.

Basicity and nucleophilicity are not the same thing....   but they often correlate well.

Rather than memorize, you should focus on what properties make something a good base and/or a good nucleophile.
