Given some mixture of liquid hydrocarbons. Witnessing that do we have unsaturated hydrocarbon in the mixture ?

what might the standard feature of unsaturated hydrocarbons be - and what do you know about tests to veryfy this?

do you know about iodine number test and how it helps us in determining the degrees of unsaturation.
