Hello
I have a little question : I'd like to know why we need to use disodium salt to prepare an EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) solution ?! Why don't we use directly the tetraacid H

EDTA ?
Thanks for your answer !!!

Solubility of the acid in water is lower than the di-sodium salt?

No need to be rude. If it's obvious what answer were you expecting?

I didn't mean to be rude, sorry if you felt like I did
What I wanted to say is that disodic salt is used instead of the tetraacid, but I don't see how we could use the solubility if it's not given ot us

It's ok.
Perhaps you were expected to find out the solubilities for yourself?

Who told you you "need to"? I have seen solutions made from acid as well as from disodium and tetrasodium salts. What is the intended application of the solution?
