Chemistry is always having a bright future as there is less competition in this field because only some people prefer this field for their career.

I've learnt to take these employment projections with a pinch of salt.

You can trust them to the coarse level of "Chemistry more employable than Anthropology" but not at the "Chemistry versus Physics versus Engineering" level.

In a broad area like Chemistry at any given time some sub-sectors tend to be doing well and others not. So also geographically.

So yeah, take it with a huge pinch of salt.
