Hello. I'm a 40 year old in search of a new career. I have a B.S. in Statistics as well as Earth Sciences from Berkeley. I had to take chem (through 2nd year--O Chem) in college but actually ended up enjoying chemistry about as well as any other subject.
I'm considering going back to school to pursue at least a Bachelors in Chem, but more likely a M.S. or possibly PhD.
What's the job outlook for teaching at the JC level in California? What about 4 year college? Obv a PhD would be required for a 4 year college, but are most profs/teachers at JC's at the M.S. level or do they typically of PhDs?
Any other info or tidbits about careers in chem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
James
