Hi guys.
Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question - I'm a complete novice at chemistry
I actually have two questions that I'm hoping you guys can help me out with...
1) What does the phrase "pH at X%" mean? I have two detergents that both say "pH at 1% is X.X", where X.X is the claimed pH level. But to what does the 1% refer?
2) I'd like to know if it is possible (where possible = simple) to calculate the pH of a solution of detergent and water knowing only the pH level of each and the volume ratio of the solution. Is there a simple way of doing this?
Cheers
