Reaction of poly(ethylene-co-acrylic acid) with KOH
« on: March 14, 2014, 11:28:17 PM »
Hi everyone, I saw an article on internet about poly(ethylene-co-acrylic acid), just know to know what would be the equation if poly(ethylene-co-acrylic acid) reacts with KOH (Potassium hydroxide)?

Attachment is the structure of  poly(ethylene-co-acrylic acid). And Linear formula is (CH2CH2)x[CH2CH(CO2H)]y

KOH is basic, and carboxylic acid is acidic, so you get it?
