Enthalpy of Formation Vs. Reaction
« on: April 03, 2014, 11:35:12 PM »
For the reaction..

2C2 + 4H2  :rarrow:  2C2H4

(I know, it's not simplified)

Is the ΔH° of reaction for THIS reaction "different" from ΔH° of formation of one mole of C2H4?

Is Delta H of reaction 2 times greater than Delta H of formation of one mole of product?
