Hey everyone, First of all if this in the wrong place, please let me know and i will happily change it, Im new here and im just looking for some advice and help from people far more knowledgeable about chemicals than i am.
Im a fluid artist looking for advice on chemicals that can be used safely together with opposing viscosity's or fluids that when mixed together cause visual chemical reactions that could be manipulated when used in combination with paint.
For example.. Bicarbonate of Soda and Vinegar, Oil and Water.
I hope this is okay to post here and i hope someone can help. And i realize its not a typical chemistry type question but i believe i have exhausted every other way of seeking the information. I have tried using most typical artists materials like epoxy resins and water based paints, oil varnishes with polyurethane varnishes mixed with paints etc, solvents and lacquers too, but have been searching for some chemical based combinations that might result in interesting outcomes. I just don't know where to look and my research into materials has hit a wall due to my lack of knowledge and understanding of chemistry and biology. Any suggestions and advice would be very greatly welcomed and appreciated.
Thank you in advance to anyone who might know some combinations i could try.
