Paint Chemistry
« on: May 14, 2014, 08:10:42 PM »
I just got an internship doing R&D for a paint company and I was basically wondering if anyone knew of any good books relating to the chemistry behind paints, a lot of pigments used are inorganic so I figured this might be the proper forum.

I found this: http://coatings.mst.edu/introduc/

Which is basically the kind of information I'd like to learn

Many times I go to WIKI to get a general idea of the topic and not as an authoritative resource to be quoted.
Often I find there are sources mentioned within the WIKI article which can potentially be used as my authoritative resource.

For instance
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paint
lists several information sources at the bottom
