Hi to the chemical community... I am a landlord of a now deceased tenant who was a chemical engineer at the RAE Farnborough in the dim and distant past. Whilst clearing his room, we have found a 7ft 6" high cylindrical structure, and approx 2 feet in diameter, heavily insulated with dense foam and tape, with two rubber pipes emerging from the top... Apparantly it was a large pyrex test tube, delivered on a lorry, about twenty years ago, and some form of heat generation experiment was being done by WIlf, my late tenant, who lived in the room for over thirty years.... There is also a metal cylindrical tube, about 5ft long, about 8" in diameter with central connecting pipes... which might be a "Multi-Therm" ... If anyone can shed light on what these might be and whether they are worth preserving, please let me know. Equally, they can go free to a good home, otherwise they will go in a skip....
MAny thanks for your help
Cheers
