L-arginine + tymol + NaBrO - mechanism of reaction

Hey!

Does somebody know the mechanism of reaction between L-arginine, tymol and NaBrO? Because I can't find it anywhere. The reaction is a modification of Sakaguchi's reaction (picture of its mechanism:
