Aluminum is used as a structural material on ships because it is very light. Warships encountered a problem with aluminum. When a ship was hit with a missle, a fire ensued that was very difficult to put out and produced a deadly waste gases. The aluminum structure itself would burn! How much heat energy is released when each 1000 kg of aluminum in a ship reacts with oxygen to produce aluminum oxide? When you express your answer as a scientific notation number (a x 10^b) in kJ, write the value of "a" correct to 3 signifcant digits in the answer box.
