amino acids and ph

Hi every1...this is jannat.....v r doing qualitative tests on amino acid in r lab...in order to dissolve the amino acid in water v kind of add some alkali or acid to it...i asked my teachers what is the effect of ph on dissolution but didnt get any satisfying answer....i know much about isoelctric point,zwitter ion n ol but the concepts get somewhat mingled when i m to apply dem...so my question is " how does ph of soln effect the solubility of amino acids....

High pH equals total deprotanation (Over 10ish).  Acidic, it is protonated still.  Is this what your asking?

Da mo charged da amino acid can B, da mo it like da wata, so extremize da pH n dey like da wata mo, otherwise dey stick togetha mo n not mix wit da wata.   Gnomesayin?
