Selecting a suitable adhesive
« on: August 18, 2014, 03:48:59 AM »
Hi. I want to bond an ABS piece to a composite of epoxy+alumina+oxalate (13% epoxy).
What kind of adhesive do you suggest? I tried silicon sealant but it does not work.

Silicone adhesive is not what comes to mind on polymers; it fits ceramics better. An epoxy looks better suited.

Did you try a hot glue gun? It glues well and regularly many materials
