I'm pretty sure that's illegal... however you should be able to access the supporting information for free.  Can you get the information you need from there?

Does your library have an interlibrary loan service?  I make quite a bit of use of ours.

Failing that, write the corresponding author and request a copy. Many journals allow authors to share so many free copies with colleagues.

Indeed. Though in my book it's the "illegal" analog of driving 5 mph above the speed limit. :)

Don't try to fool these guys (trust me).  They can see your reaction idea 20 steps further than you can, and yes, I see EXACTLY where you are going with this.  Would be nice, but likely is not efficient, or else it would be the preferred method.
