Hi,

I will be taking a x-ray crystallography course this year, and I was wondering what kind of skills I need to know. Would I need to know a lot about geometry, group theory and physics? Because I don't have much background in that.

Also, while we are at it, if you can also please recommend any good x-ray crystallography books for beginners?

Best regards

This is such a highly specialized course, I'd suspect the course's textbook has everything you need.
