Hi,
Google isn't helping me much here, I always seem to find "the most important" functional groups, but never a real list that tries to name them all. I need this for a molecule creator I'm working on. It should recognize all possible functional groups within the molecule. I can work with any type of representation, so I don't really care how the DB/List represents the functional groups.

Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks,
kiriro

Wikipedia is pretty exhaustive. Or try the SMILES articles on Wikipedia & elsewhere.
