In the experimental section of a lab report, is it okay to simply write 'concentrated in vacuo' to describe vacuum filtration ?

That doesn't seem to be the correct term to me. You don't really concentrate a solid that's suspended in a liquid. Its already as concentrate as its going to get. I can't see why you simply don't say, "vacuum filtered"
