HOMO energy and the ease of oxydation

Hello... Here is the issue. I calculated HOMO of water molecule and atomic hydrogen (Spartan) - in both cases HOMO energy is about -13 EV. Why then water is not at all an oxidizable substance whereas H is oxidized instantly?
