Comet chemistry

Now that the lander is down I wonder what sort of chemistry they will find on the comet. Certainly water, anyone want to bet on amino acids or some viable precursor. Recently in Science iso-butyronitrile was detected.
In any case it will be interesting.

I'm also interested in the meaning behind possible isotopic differences in the hydrogen and oxygen in the water present.  I find it at least a little interesting, maybe even mind boggling.  If the isotopes are different . where did Earth's hydrogen and oxygen come from?
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.

Looks as if the lander has found something organic! But we'll have to wait for the publication of their paper before we know what it may be.
