Bubbling Hydrogen chloride gas into freon..
« on: November 13, 2014, 09:51:32 AM »
How exactly would a chemist bubble HCL(g) into f113 solution?

It'd be appreciated if you may provide further instruction and expand on the topic.  If you can provide a video link, this would also be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Probably using a set-up like this http://www.amazingrust.com/Experiments/how_to/Cl2.html
But generating HCl instead of chlorine...

Why?
