It use to be the case that 99+ members could read the forum without seeing a google ad. We've changed that recently, an ad will be shown to the 99+ members at the bottom of the forum when looking at a thread, like this one. This was done for many reasons, mostly for Analytic reasons. Comments and suggestions are always welcomed.

And I've decided to turn off AdBlock for the chemicalforums, because I'd like to support this site.  I don't know what ads Google will try to serve up for me, but I'll let you know if its starting to piss me off.

What I hate most of all is when the Poland or Russia or another Slavic country is mentioned in thread, Google ads thinks the ad to target to me is Russian Brides.  I may be interested in buying something from Russia, but not another human being.  Yes, I know those ads are just borderline scams leading to dating sites, but its just embarrassing to have someone read that over your shoulder.
