Hello,
I recently asked a question regarding Anisole's compatibility with tygon. My problem now is that the Anisole we are using would have to come into contact with a number of other materials, and I cannot find much information on it's reactivity. As a non-chemist, I am unsure if this is because it's chemical composition makes it obvious to chemists what it does and does not react with, or that it simply hasn't been tested.
Any guidance on procedure to test or type of specialist I should contact would be appreciated.
In the off chance that someone here has experience, we are concerned about using a water pump to pump the anisole which is composed of the following materials:
Casing - Glass-filled polypropylene
Backplate - Glass-filled Ryton
Impeller - Glass-filled polypropylene
bushings - Carbon
Washers and shaft - Ceramic
O-Rings — Viton (fkm)
