Hi all,
Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm trying to figure out how to make a printed color image on one side of a sheet of standard office paper visible on the other side (with as much color retained as possible). I believe adding a substance that can permeate the paper with roughly the same refractive index should allow light to pass through the paper and make it transparent.
Ideally it would be derived from a readily available non-toxic item. I have experimented with various household oils and varnishes with varying results, nothing has worked particularly well. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
